I combine a background in psychology and data science with a love for great design to create websites that genuinely connect with people.
B.A. Psychology & B.S. Data Science
I went to Bellarmine to study why people make the decisions they make. Psychology explained the "why," but it left me wanting to actually measure it, so I added a data science degree to chase the "how much" and "how do you know." I didn't plan on web design when I started either degree. I just knew I wanted to understand people and prove what actually works, and it turned out that's exactly what a good website needs.
Where I Chose to Point All of That
The first thing I do with a new client isn't open a design tool, it's ask questions. What makes your customers pick you over the shop down the street? What do people misunderstand about your business before they ever walk in? A landscaper's site and a bakery's site should never look the same, because the businesses behind them aren't the same, and neither are the people they're trying to reach.
Psychology + Data + Design
Psychology taught me how people think. Data science taught me how to measure what works. Web design is where I put both to use by building sites that feel right and perform.
That combination of psychology, data, and design is still what drives every decision I make about where Out Shine goes next.
My primary goal is to give small businesses access to the same quality web presence that big brands enjoy. Every small business deserves a site that works as hard as they do.
I want to bring a more data focused approach to web design by using analytics, user psychology, and conversion principles to make decisions that go beyond just "looking good."
I want to build a studio I'm proud of, one client at a time, making sure every website I put out reflects that same commitment to quality.
"Psychology tells me why someone trusts a business. Data tells me if that trust actually converts. I don't design until I know both answers."
I'd love to hear about your business and how I can help. Reach out and let's start the conversation.
